Dads are not always the ones to talk about feelings, which is why a card can say what you do not say out loud. A mix of humour and one sincere line works best.
Funny
- “Thanks for passing on your good looks and your terrible jokes.”
- “You are not old. You are vintage.”
- “Happy Father’s Day to the man who is always right, according to himself.”

Heartfelt
- “Thank you for always being there. I love you.”
- “You taught me to stay calm and keep going.”
- “I am proud to be your child.”

For grandpa or a father figure
- “Thank you for being the person I could always count on.”
- “You are a father in everything but name.”
