Eid al-Fitr, the Sugar Feast, marks the end of Ramadan. It is a day of gratitude, family and sharing. A card from a colleague, a neighbour or a classmate shows that you notice and care.

Traditional greetings

  • “Eid Mubarak! Wishing you a blessed celebration.”
  • “Eid Mubarak to you and your family.”
  • “Wishing you joy, peace and good company on this special day.”

A small gesture

You do not need to share the faith to send a card. Keep the message simple and sincere, avoid assumptions, and do not ask about fasting unless the person brings it up. If you are not sure about the date, check the calendar, because it depends on the moon.

A card from the group

If your team has Muslim colleagues, a group card with everyone’s greeting is a welcome gesture. It arrives on the morning of Eid and shows the team sees them.
