What is an e-card?
An e-card is an electronic greeting card: a picture, a message and sometimes music or a slideshow, delivered to an e-mail address. You pick a design, write your text, enter the e-mail address and choose when it should arrive. There is no stamp, no queue at the post office and nothing that gets lost.
Is sending an e-card free?
Often, yes, in a simple form. Many sites let you send a basic card for nothing and charge for extras such as more designs, removing adverts or a bigger group. Does the receiver need an account or an app?
