Privacy statement

Emailkaarten.nl collects only what is needed to make and deliver a card. This is a short summary; the operator can extend it before launch.

What we store

• The organiser: name and e-mail address, to send the links and the delivery confirmation.
• The recipient: name and e-mail address, only to deliver the card on the chosen day.
• Participants: the name they type, their message and their photos. Participants do not give an e-mail address.
• Photos are resized, and location and camera data (EXIF) are removed. Original files are not kept.
• An anonymised visitor hash (not your IP address) to prevent abuse, and simple usage statistics without third-party tracking.

Who can see a card

Only people who have the link. Links are long and unguessable. Cards are not listed or searchable.

How long we keep it

Until the end of the period of the chosen plan; after that the card, messages and photos are deleted. The organiser can delete a card at any time, and a participant can remove their own message with their personal edit link.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see your card or bank details.

You can ask us to inspect or delete your data at any time by e-mailing menno@deio.nl.
