Someone close to you is in the middle of something heavy: an illness, a divorce, a lost job, a difficult treatment. You cannot fix it, but a card shows you are standing next to them.
Say that you see them
The most valuable thing in a card of strength is not advice but recognition: I know this is hard, and I am here.
- “I know these weeks are heavy. I am thinking of you every day.”
- “You do not have to be strong all the time. We will carry some of it for you.”
- “Whatever tomorrow brings, you are not alone.”

Avoid pushing positivity
“Everything happens for a reason” and “stay positive” can feel like a closed door. Leave room for bad days. A sentence like “it is allowed to be tired” often helps more than a slogan.

Offer something small
Strength is practical too: a meal at the door, a ride, a walk, an hour of company. Be specific, and make it easy to say yes or no without explaining.
- “I will bring soup on Thursday. No need to answer.”
- “Can I take the kids on Saturday afternoon?”

A card from everyone
When a whole team or class sends a card, it works as a warm blanket: thirty small messages that say we think of you. People can read it again on the days they need it.

Frequently asked questions about the strength card
What does it cost to send a strength card digitally?
Starting is free: up to 7 people, one photo each, the free designs and a small watermark. For € 4.95 per card you get 20 people, two photos each, all designs, the slideshow and a PDF; for € 7.50 unlimited people and three photos. You pay once per card, never a subscription.
How long does it take to make the card?
About two minutes for the organiser. Everybody else opens the link, types a message and adds a photo.
Do the people who write need an account?
