Carnival is for sharing: the club, the neighbours, the colleagues in matching costumes. A card with a few cheerful words, and a photo of everybody in their outfit, is the best way to start.
Short and cheerful wishes
- “Alaaf! Have a fantastic carnival with the whole crew.”
- “Three days of music, laughter and the best costumes. Enjoy!”
- “Hat on, friends along, and enjoy every minute.”
In the south of the Netherlands and in Belgium people say Alaaf or Vastelaovend. Use what is common where you live.

Funny messages for friends and colleagues
- “See you on the street. I will be the one with the same hat as last year.”
- “Only three days to forget that it is Monday.”
- “Please keep the confetti out of the meeting room on Wednesday.”

A card for the club, the class or the team
Carnival clubs, schools, sports teams and offices all have a crew that deserves a thank you. Let everybody write one line and add a photo of their costume. The card is a keepsake of the year.

When to send it
Send the card on the Friday before carnival starts, or on the first morning. A card that arrives on the day itself feels like part of the party.
One card from the whole crew
Make a carnival card with the whole club, class or team. Everybody writes and adds a photo with one link, without an account. Start a card.
Frequently asked questions about the carnival card
What does it cost to send a carnival card digitally?
Starting is free: up to 7 people, one photo each, the free designs and a small watermark. For € 4.95 per card you get 20 people, two photos each, all designs, the slideshow and a PDF; for € 7.50 unlimited people and three photos. You pay once per card, never a subscription.
How long does it take to make the card?
About two minutes for the organiser. Everybody else opens the link, types a message and adds a photo.
Do the people who write need an account?
No. They open the link and write. Only the person who makes the card can choose to have an account.
When does the card arrive?
On the day and time you choose, by e-mail. The day before, the organiser gets a preview.
